DIGITAL/PHYSICAL DESIGN // METHODOLOGY
These posters visually reflect my journey managing anxiety through mindfulness and meditation, and was created with a particular method and system. Each of the posters represent a specific anxious moment, what it was about, what I did to relieve it, and my transition through the experience.
My particular process for creating these posters was to take note of my thoughts, perform a mindful activity and categorize the most frequent feelings and thoughts into themes.
Each shape represents a thought, each color represents what I was feeling, and each of these were selected by randomization before beginning the project.
I chose to sketch some of the main themes as an aesthetic choice to show a sense of physicality and personalization to the pieces. These different components were collaged to show interaction between the symbols and how they all intertwine together, much like they do when contained in the mind.
